Ambition is growing when none other than ANNA WOXLIN joins the team! Anna is a creative humanitarian with a flair for… mathematics? She loves to apply her skills where it really matters. In high school, Anna and her friends developed a solution to make life easier for people with rheumatism. While at Chalmers, she went to Kenya to help further urban agriculture in poor neighborhoods. In her latest job, she designed solutions to help patients take their medication as prescribed.
– Early on, I got interested in how design and technology can be used to solve problems, and I’m glad I got to learn how to do that with a holistic approach at Chalmers. Design is so much bigger than gradients, layouts, or pixels. At the same time, I’m grateful that I got a chance to get some hands-on UX/UI design experience already during my studies with an internship at the Hyperlab digital design agency. To me, a holistic approach is vital to reach the goals, but mastering the actual design tools enables me to visualize and realize the concepts we’re working on. I need both to get the job done.
– The last couple of years, I’ve been working at a startup. It’s been really exciting, with a great product and great people. Now it’s time for my next step, and I’m looking forward to a context where I can grow together with a team of experienced designers. I’m impressed with the way you have integrated professional development into how you work at Ambition. Not only through Empower but also through your skill-sharing and co-create sessions. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the team, our collaborators, and our clients.
